The Acura Legend sedan was removed from Mamalahoa Bypass Road on Sept. 12, police said. Investigation led to the arrest Wednesday afternoon of 22-year-old Randi-Keli Banagan, who was already in custody at the Kona police cellblock on a contempt of court charge.

Banagan was charged Thursday with auto theft and her bail was set at $2,000. She remains at the cellblock pending her court appearance scheduled for today.
